Public Workshop
由2013年開始,社區文化發展中心六年來持續舉辦觸感藝術節,探究了不同形式、風格的觸感藝術。迎接第七屆,我們成立了全港首個【觸感藝術空間】,由2020年5月起,為期一年,共舉辦3次主題展覽以及2021年第七屆香港觸感藝術節。
同時,我們將於7月至10月期間,為視障人士提供8節觸感藝術課程。學員作品將於【觸感藝術空間】展出,並有機會參與日本、台灣、澳門、泰國等地進行國際無障礙藝術交流。
上課地點:石硤尾白田街30號賽馬會創意藝術中心L205社區文化發展中心—觸感藝術空間
上課時間:上午10時至下午1時
對象:適合任何沒有藝術基礎的視障人士參加
節數:8節(因應疫情影響,觸感藝術工作坊自第二節起將會延後至另行通知)
費用:全免(參加者需付$200按金,完成整系列課程將派發證書及退還按金)

Getting Started Concept
Using the accessible aids of ready-made artworks, namely oral images and tactile production, we explain what touch is, the difference between tactile art and general painting, and fine arts and labor.
Tutor: Lu Jinchi is a visually impaired poet who loves all art forms related to visual media. He was the editor of the literary magazine "Zihua" and has written a collection of essays and reviews.

Material Exploration(1)
Explore different materials and create artworks on cardboard to enhance sensitivity in using different media. Another part explores the possibilities of using objects to create, using objects to stimulate imagination and consider artistic creation from a conceptual perspective.
Instructor: Yang Xiuzhuo is a retired visual arts teacher who was active in art creation in the 1980s and 1990s. In recent years, he has traveled to different places to give lectures.

Material Exploration(2)
The visually impaired instructors led the participants to create three-dimensional works using tape and stickers, allowing the participants to enjoy the fun of creation.
Instructor: Huang Zhiwei (Xiaoxing) is a visually impaired person who likes various artistic creations, including tactile art, paper art, and text creation. He is also an instructor and consultant for information technology.

Material Exploration(3)
Through the creation of environmentally friendly pulp art, the use of waste is established and increased, thereby extending the concept. The style of the work is interpreted according to personal fashion, making each piece unique.
Instructor: Emily Yeh is a local designer. She initially focused on designing, manufacturing and selling silver jewellery. She has subsequently taught jewellery making, fashion design and production courses.

Explore the senses
Through drinks, food and musical instruments, participants can experience a journey of taste, touch and hearing, dialogue with their own works and communicate with each other spiritually.
Mentor: Chan Yin-hong (Comma), Artistic Director of Dark Theatre. Comma is a theatre worker who became blind later in life. He was one of the "Ten Outstanding Young People in Hong Kong" in 2016 and has worked as a scriptwriter, director, producer, actor and drama instructor.

Touch and Emotion
Explore the basic elements of touch: texture, time, space, force, perception, interaction... Understand the relationship between touch and psychology and emotions, and then conceive and create an interactive device to create a tactile experience with materials.
Instructor: Chen Jiaxing , designer and artist (visual arts), founder of the Hong Kong Arts and Design Federation. His works have been exhibited locally and overseas and are collected by private and university museums.

Mud and Quality Change
Listen to the sounds of nature, describe the sensations of your hands, nose, and skin, try to feel the characteristics of different types of mud, imagine yourself as a creature in nature, try to use mud to shape its form, and build a home for your fantasy creature.
Instructor: Xiao Yaoxiang (Monster/Reggae) has been involved in many art forms. He is a dance activity instructor, hand-kneading ceramics, Yarn Jam, SAORI free weaving instructor, and is also fascinated by Japanese Sogetsu flower arrangement. In 2015, he was invited to be the instructor of the Six Senses Handmade Life Workshop series at the Yan Oi Tong Green Living Museum.

Story and Tactile Aesthetics
Summarize and discuss tactile aesthetics and students' thoughts and sharing after creating multiple artistic works.
Instructor: Chen Yanlin, Chairman of the Community Cultural Development Center, is a landscape architect and urban historian. She is the founder of the "Landscape Theatre" and the curator of the 6th "Hong Kong Tactile Art Festival".
